Using this, on top of the events you learn in 3rd, you can actually map out what Estelle and Joshua have been doing off camera between the games which ends up leading them into Crossbell. There is one manga that I think would stand out, due to its nature: The Zero no Kiseki Prestory: Ring of Judgement. If the manga retells something from the games in a certain way, it's most likely the games will supercede it in importance. When it comes whether they're cannon, I think it depends on the events in the manga. Most of the manga seems to be mostly parallel with the games. I'm not quite sure where to get them, but you can find a number of the others on Chara-Ani's site itself- you'll just need to use a proxy service like Celga or Tenso to purchase them. which is where I'm jumping to next.įinding the drama CDs not in Japanese is going to be hard- even harder yet, will be finding the ones that are limited edition items. What I think is one of the most important of the side stories, however. Kondo even said at one time that you don't want to listen to the Sen no Kiseki/Trails of Cold Steel drama CD until you're nearly done with the game. It isn't until the more recent games- Zero no Kiseki and up- when you start getting drama CDs of side stories these are events that are not in the games. Or a certain character who had no voice is given one- revealing the gender of said mysterious individual. Instead, you're given the event that happens immediately after said scene, which you had assumed happened off-camera. Where the end scene does not correspond with the ending scene that happens in-game. Most of the drama CDs are simply retellings of in-game events with additional scenes. Falcom has almost always been involved in these directly, but they are published by Chara-Ani. They have revealed information that has not been in the games before. Like you said, all the drama CDs are canon.
